TRICK~or~TREAT!
We have lots of Treats in our bag and we would like to share with YOU! The Prim and Whimsy GirLs are having a spooktacular Halloween Giveaway.
We will pick nine (9) winners who will each receive one of the nine ghoulishly great goodies below.
The rules are simple ~ leave a comment on THIS post between October 4th & midnight (EST) October 10th. The winners will be announced on October 12th. (Limited to US residents only.)

Prize#1 ~ Fabulous 17 carat Faceted African Amethyst. A deep purple with true red highlights. Dimension 18.6 X 15.3 X 11.5 MM

Prize #2 ~ This Scaredy Cat stump doll has been made using onsaburg and painted & distressed. He is sand filled so he sits nicely on his own… He sports a “Scaredy Cat” banner tied around his neck with rusty wire and has hand stitched facial features and fuzzy little whiskers…This olde cat stands 9 1/2 inches tall and is almost 6 inches wide…he’s signed & dated on his bottom… Many Thanks to Pam of Soft In The Head for the great design & pattern…
Donated by Betsy of Foothill Primitives Betsy is a Primitive Folk Artist whose creations range from beeswax ornies to pantry boxes to penny rugs. All reminiscent of days gone by.

Prize #3 ~ Vintage Style Halloween Ornament Tags. The tags are hand pieced and composed of layers of card stock and paper. Each set contains a fully articulated pumpkin man and cat dancer. Tags range in size from 2.75″ h to 6.75″ high.
Donated by Lori of RetroRudolphs Lori began her career as a trained Graphic Designer, but her love of papier-mâché has blossomed into a full time career. She has been selling her one-of-a-kind (OOAK) creations internationally through various sites since 2005 and focuses much of her work on Vintage Style Halloween themed candy containers and ornaments.

Prize #4 ~ A set of six (6) fabric Candy Cones. These Candy Cones would make great hostess gifts or look great hanging on a Halloween tree filled with treats. Each cone measures approx. 5″ long (without ribbon handle).
Donated by Jeanne of WildWoods Art Jeanne is a self taught Folk Artist who delights in creating the whimiscal. She enjoys working with paper-mache, clay and fabric.

Prize #5 ~ 8×10 print of Witch’s Tea Party
Three witches sit down for tea, each one likes a little something different in their cup. As the hostess pours, one guest spices up her tea with what? A potion? Poison? We don’t know yet, but only the two of you know what she’s done.
Donated by Mere of These Are the Days Mere started painting in 2008 and enjoys creating whimsical folk art paintings and sculptures.

Prize #6 ~ A set of four beeswax Witch ornies. Each Witch measures approx. 1 1/2″ x 2″ and would look great hanging on a cupboard doorknob or on a Halloween Tree.

Prize #7 ~ This cute Black Cat is a handmade Candy container - ready to hide all the candy you get trick-or-treating!
Donated by Amelia of Sweet B Folk Art Amelia is a self taught artist inspired by the holidays of yore. She is an absolute expert on all things candy and loves the subtle softness of vintage holiday decorations.

Prize #8 ~ An adorable little ornie sure to sweeten any display. He’s 4″ tall and is made of muslin and painted with acrylics.

    Okay, okay, so I know I probably won’t win anything being the first to comment-(I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone who commented first win-the number generator doesn’t like #1) but these prizes are all just so FUN! The amethyst is just BEAUTIFUL and love the witches tea party (as I said before)….So Fun!!

    I am all thumbs and the least crafty Witch on the Planet.
    I would love to be able to do something like this.
    I bought a witch bear at a church sale yesterday just so I could steal the hat and cape to make my favorite sock monkey a proper witch ! Safety pins and tying bows. Mr. Belle had to help !
